The vast rain is falling all around me,The quiet echo’s of the crickets in the tree’s, Silence breaks the winds gale dead, Nothing has ever felt so peaceful and calm, The wind came back it did not last long, Help me understand one thing, Why when your falling does it feel you will sink, You reach out your arm’s but there is nothing to grasp, Reliving painful memories buried in your past, Grasping the dark curtains that portray it all, A wandering doom the gleam in your eyes, That final kiss of air as you bid this world goodbye, Was it worth it can you see clearly now, you were never alone but you had hidden yourself, I would reach out but you wouldn’t respond, Our happiness it didn’t last long.
